Back in 2017 John Chester and his team at Apricot Lane farm produced a fantastic, oscar-nominated documentary called The Biggest Little Farm. It followed the trials and successes as John and his partner, Molly built and managed a truly regenerative farm, documenting the characters (both human and animal) who helped them along their way. Fast forward several years and I was invited as a guest cinematographer onto the farm to help capture some of the wild animal interactions taking place there for a series, produced by National Geographic, to be released on Disney +, date TBD. It was such a treat to work on a project that was different from my normal, and with such a great team who worked for over three years to tell a really important story.
